Hi! My name is Allison Sortor. I moved to Oklahoma in December of 2024 with my husband, who is stationed at Tinker AFB. I have four pets of my own: Ruta, the white Great Pyrenees, Red, the brown Chihuahua, Copper, the orange cat, and Charlie, the grey and white cat. (My logo features my pups Ru+Red!) I have always had a passion for animals, and knew i always wanted to pursue a career where animals were my #1 focus. I began fostering for 405 Animal Rescue in June of 2025, and that just made my love for cats and dogs grow even stronger. Since working with the rescue, I’ve become much more aware and understanding of how many pets struggle with fear or stress. My mission with Sortor's Suds is to create the most comfortable environment possible and give every pet a calm, positive grooming experience. I’ve found that many pets become stressed in a busy grooming salon, which is why I’m proud to offer grooming right in your home or mine. Many pets are scared of baths, nail trims, or unfamiliar people-and that’s okay. I strive to work with them at their pace, helping them feel safer and more comfortable so grooming becomes easier and more positive for them.
